Ruri trained at the Royal Academy of Music.

Theatre credits include Understudy Tony in Billy Elliot (West End, 10th Anniversary cast, & UK Tour), Dan in The Hired Man (Landor Theatre), Ensemblein The Ripper (New Players Theatre).
